Questioning if you\u2019re maximizing the tax efficiency in your portfolio?<\/p>\n<h4>\u00a0<\/h4>\n<h4>Your advisor should be <strong>transparent on pricing<\/strong>.<\/h4>\n<p>You shouldn\u2019t have to call to find out where your fees are buried in your statement.\u00a0 Your advisor\u2019s compensation should be upfront, in plain English, and not tied to selling you products you don\u2019t need.<\/p>\n<h4>\u00a0<\/h4>\n<h4>Your advisor should be <strong>well networked to help you find the professionals you need.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Have a complex estate planning issue?\u00a0 Need a business valuation?\u00a0 What about another opinion about executing a 1031 exchange?<\/p>\n<h4>\u00a0<\/h4>\n<h4>Your advisor should be <strong>nimble with technology<\/strong>.<\/h4>\n<p>Zoom anyone?\u00a0 Online scheduling tool? Want access to update the inputs of your retirement plan on your own?<\/p>\n<h4>\u00a0<\/h4>\n<h4>Your advisor should be <strong>available to you<\/strong>!<\/h4>\n<p>This is a relationship-driven business.\u00a0 You shouldn\u2019t have to jump through hoops via an admin, and then a junior advisor to get through to your advisor.<\/p>\n<p>If you want to do this on your own, go for it.\u00a0 But chances are high <strong>there is always more that you can do.<\/strong>\u00a0 A second set of eyes to glance everything over couldn\u2019t hurt.\u00a0 Ask if your advisor offers a fee for service to do something like this, where no investment management or commitment is required. Sound too good to be true?\u00a0 <strong>Challenge the status quo<\/strong>.
